Ms. Allen has nine years of insurance brokerage and risk management experience, advising a variety of corporate, institutional and public sector clients on leading risk management practices and risk financing solutions. Prior to joining Deloitte, Ms. Allen was an insurance broker in Chicago, where she designed and negotiated insurance programs for clients including one of the larges U.S. cities and a Global Fortune 50 electronics company. Ms. Allen previously documented workers’ compensation program requirements globally and developed a model to quantify the costs and benefits of occupations health and safety for a Fortune 500 company. She presented her analysis at the companies World Safety Conference and the European Conference on the Costs and Benefits of Occupations Health and Safety.

Her experience includes audit of insurance brokerage operations, creating sales and marketing operations strategies, defining distribution channel and agent compensation strategies, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, designing and pricing risk financing strategies and RMIS needs assessment and evaluation.

Ms. Allen holds a B.A., in Economics from the University of Nebraska, and has completed requirements for an Associate designation in Risk Management. She is also a licensed Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance Broker in the State of Illinois.
